Service Description

A Little Sound Garden Session is a one-off session or series of sessions in your Nursery or Pre-school where I will lead a Musical Storytime session. This includes sharing a carefully chosen story and exploring it through props, songs and actions. We will also sing well known nursery rhymes and learn a new song together. I am responsive to the children and allow them to share and develop their own ideas. They will begin to develop a sense of pulse and rhythm whilst having fun and building confidence. Classes support children's development in all areas of the EYFS framework, especially Communication and Language, Personal Social and Emotional Development and Expressive Arts and Design. As an experienced EYFS teacher, I can also stay after the Musical Storytime session to encourage musical play through song, playing instruments or using natural resources to make instruments with the children. These sessions can be tailored to meet the requirements of the setting and adapted for different ages and abilities. Contact me via email to check my availability and discuss your requirements.
